STEP 1
How to make chocolate mousse with gelatin? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take dark chocolate, with a cocoa content of 70% or more. Adjust sugar to your taste.
STEP 2
Soak the gelatin in 40 ml of cold water and leave to swell for 15-20 minutes. Then dissolve the gelatin over low heat and bring almost to a boil, but do not boil. With the same amount of gelatin as in the recipe, the dessert will become airy and tender. The consistency is similar to cream. If you need an even thicker consistency, add another 1 tbsp. l. gelatin.
STEP 3
Break the chocolate into small pieces. Pour milk into a saucepan and add the broken chocolate.
STEP 4
Place the saucepan over low heat and, stirring, heat the mixture until the chocolate is completely dissolved. Then remove the saucepan from the heat and cool the mixture to room temperature.
STEP 5
Pour cold heavy cream into a bowl and beat with a mixer for 2 minutes until light foam forms, gradually adding sugar.
STEP 6
While continuing to whisk, pour in the chocolate milk.
STEP 7
Next, pour in the gelatin. Beat everything together for 2 minutes until fluffy. It is important not to overbeat the mixture. It should not turn out too thick and dense.
STEP 8
Pour the mousse into glasses or bowls and refrigerate for 2 hours until completely set.
STEP 9
Decorate the chocolate mousse to taste and serve. Bon appetit!
