  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Before making the filling, take the puff pastry out of the freezer. Defrost it at room temperature. To prevent the top of the dough from drying out during defrosting, it is recommended to cover it with a towel. Let's start with the filling. Wash the chicken fillet thoroughly and dry it with a paper towel. Cut thick pieces lengthwise against the grain.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

We wrap each piece in cling film or put it in a plastic bag and beat it. This can be done with a kitchen hammer or a rolling pin. If small holes appear, it's okay. Then salt the meat. If you want to give the dish a more piquant taste, you can add your favorite spices.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Roll out the layer of defrosted puff pastry a little. We do this carefully, without jerking. Roll out in one motion. Otherwise, you can break the layered structure of the dough. And in the end it will just be a flatbread.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place a broken piece of chicken fillet on the rolled out sheet of dough.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place curd cheese on top of the fillet. Distribute it evenly over the surface of the meat. You can add a little chopped herbs. Vegetables, such as bell peppers or tomatoes, are also perfect to complement the meat filling.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then carefully roll the dough with chicken into a roll. Pinch the end of the dough to prevent the roll from falling apart during baking.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Using a sharp knife, cut each roll into two parts.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Line a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper. Lay out the rolls. Don't place them close to each other. The puff pastry rises during baking and the rolls will increase in size. And if they are too close together they can stick to each other.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

To make the baked goods rosy and appetizing, brush them with yolk. This is easy to do with a silicone brush. If it is not there, then you can lubricate it with a homemade brush made from a soft bandage. You can sprinkle sesame seeds on top. This will make the rolls look even more appetizing. Place them in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Serve with tea, coffee, milk and in a good mood. Bon appetit and cook with pleasure
