    How to make chicken legs like in FSC? Prepare all the necessary products. Take the chicken legs chilled. Any other parts of chicken are also suitable for this dish: individual phalanges of a chicken wing, strips of chicken breast. Kefir is needed for marinade, so the percentage of fat content does not matter. Corn flakes must be sugar-free.

    How to make a marinade? Add pepper to kefir. It can be any kind of ground hot pepper; I have a mixture of ground hot peppers.

    Add thyme. Since in this recipe it doesn’t matter what kind of marinade you marinate the chicken legs in, you can add some of your favorite herbs and seasonings to it according to your taste. Suneli hops, fenugreek, ground smoked paprika - choose to your taste.

    Salt the marinade. I have regular white table salt, but it can also be some flavored types of salt: Svan or Adyghe.

    Peel the garlic, chop it and add it to the marinade. I put the clove through a press, but it is quite possible to grate it on a fine grater or chop it with a knife.

    Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

    Add onion to marinade.

    Wash and dry the chicken drumsticks. If necessary, remove excess feathers.

    Place the legs in the marinade and leave for at least 30 minutes. The marinating time can last up to two days.

    For breading, grind the corn flakes, but not into dust, leaving small pieces. I used a masher for this purpose.

    Mix crushed cereal with grated cheese. I already had ready-made grated cheese, but if you have a piece of cheese, then grate it, it’s better to use a smaller grater.

    Place the chicken drumsticks one at a time in the breading and coat well. For strength, press it against the chicken with your fingers. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan with a thick bottom. Fry the drumsticks until fully cooked, about 15-20 minutes. Don't make the fire too big. Not only the breading and the entire chicken leg should be fried.

The last and only time I was at KFS was 10 years ago. I just ate chicken legs there. And I absolutely don’t remember what they tasted like. When I came across a recipe for chicken legs at KFS, I decided to definitely cook them. Although I don’t remember their taste, the crust should have been excellent anyway. And I was not mistaken. I had chicken legs, cut them into thighs and drumsticks. I used both parts. For the marinade I took 1% kefir, half a large onion, paprika and a mixture of ready-made spices for chicken. The chicken was marinated for about 10 hours. I fried the breaded legs and thighs over moderate heat for about 20 minutes. In some places the breading was slipping. The crust turned out great: very tasty and crispy. One thigh was not cooked through, so I put it (and the rest of the chicken, just in case) for 15 minutes in the oven (180 degrees). Everyone liked these chicken legs, even the children. They really turned out very tasty. Natalia, thank you very much for the wonderful recipe!
