Chicken in sour cream with garlic in a frying pan

STEP 1

How to make chicken in sour cream and garlic in a frying pan? Take a whole chicken or parts of it, you will still need to cut the chicken into portions. Add sour cream, sunflower oil, garlic, carrots, spices and salt to the ingredients.
STEP 2

Prepare the chicken and cut into portions. Rub it with salt and pepper or chicken spices.
STEP 3

In very hot oil, quickly fry the chicken pieces on all sides, turning while frying. The chicken doesn't have to be cooked through, it's just important to brown the surface, sealing in the meat juices.
STEP 4

Peel the garlic and cut into large petals.
STEP 5

Also cut the carrots into large strips.
STEP 6

Remove the chicken from the pan onto a plate, and fry the garlic and carrots in the same oil and the fat rendered from the chicken. A very strong garlic aroma will immediately spread.
STEP 7

Add sour cream and milk to the vegetables (this was in the original recipe, but I don’t recommend adding milk - it will curdle, it’s better to just use water if the sour cream is too thick).
STEP 8

Boil the resulting sauce a little, pepper and salt to taste.
STEP 9

Now dip the pieces of fried chicken into the sour cream and garlic sauce and cover with a lid. Simmer for about half an hour until tender over low heat.
STEP 10

Fried chicken with garlic in a frying pan in sour cream is ready, serve it hot with any side dish and herbs.
