I’ve come across this recipe for cherries in wine many times already, but I didn’t really understand what it should taste like) But recently I made a sauce based on red wine and the bottle remained on the table. I decided that this was a sign and worth a try) I did everything according to the instructions, boiled it, then added diluted starch. I used potato starch. At first the liquid was cloudy and whitish. I was even upset that it didn’t work out. But after a couple of minutes the mass became transparent, saturated with small air bubbles. And it began to thicken rapidly! With continuous stirring, boil for a couple more minutes and leave the dessert to cool. After that, I put it in a glass and put it in the refrigerator. Before serving, sprinkle the walnuts with grated nuts. I really liked the consistency of this dessert; the liquid became thick, viscous, and transparent. The cherries in this beauty look incredibly appetizing! I'm not a fan of red wine, but my husband liked the dessert) He said it tasted sweet and tart, with the cherry flavor dominating. By the way, I asked you to take the pits out of the cherries next time) And I really liked the appearance!
