  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cones with cheese? Prepare the products. Choose pasta from durum wheat. Cheese and butter are of good quality, without vegetable fats. Any hard, semi-hard or soft cheese will do, as long as it melts well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Boil 2.5 liters of water in a saucepan. The amount of water is calculated from the amount of pasta in the ratio of 1 liter per 100 g of pasta. If there is less water, the pasta may quickly boil or stick together. Add salt and cones to boiling water. For the first 5 minutes, the pasta should be stirred periodically to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom. Cook the cones according to the instructions on the package. For me it takes 10 minutes, but I cooked it for 9, until al dente - slightly undercooked.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the pasta is cooking, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the pasta in a colander and let all the water drain. Shake the colander a couple of times to remove all excess moisture from the pasta.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Return the cones to the pan in which they were cooked. Add the butter and stir the pasta so that the butter spreads throughout the pasta. To speed up the process, you can first melt the butter over low heat or in the microwave. If you don’t have butter on hand, you can add 1-2 tbsp. l. olive oil.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Add grated cheese to pasta.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Quickly stir the cheese into the pasta.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Immediately place the finished pasta on plates and sprinkle with herbs. Serve hot. Bon appetit!

It’s also good to bake the horns with cheese in the oven. Delicious side dish!

My kids love pasta and I love easy, quick meals, so cheese cones fit the bill perfectly for most of my family. I sprinkled the cheese onto each person's plate once the cones had cooled slightly (we like it not to melt completely). Simple, cheap and fast!

I saw a recipe for horns with cheese and decided to try it. I've never cooked this way before. Using a calculator, I reduced the volume of ingredients to 2 servings, but took a little more butter and cheese. I cooked the pasta for 8 minutes until al dente. The cheese horns have a delicate and rich taste that leaves a pleasant aftertaste and a desire to try more. I will be making this recipe more often! Thanks a lot to the author!
