  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chebureki with fried meat? Prepare your food. You can take ready-made minced meat or make it at home yourself. Any meat is suitable - beef, pork, chicken, turkey or a mixture of them. Use spices according to your taste. For baking you will also need a small baking tray and baking paper.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the wheat flour and pour about 2 cups into a deep bowl. Add salt and sugar, stir.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then make a depression in the center, pour vegetable oil into it, and mix a little.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour in water, it is better if it is at room temperature. Mix the products until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Enter the remaining amount of flour (you may need a little more or a little less than a glass) and knead the dough, it should turn out quite stiff, smooth and homogeneous. Add flour, focusing on consistency. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it over medium heat, then add the onion to the oil. Fry the onion until transparent.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

After about 3 minutes, add the minced meat, spices and salt. Fry the minced meat over low heat for approximately 10-15 minutes. Stir the minced meat with a spatula from time to time, breaking up any lumps. After the time has passed, turn off the heat and leave the minced meat to cool.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Divide the dough into 5-6 parts. Roll each piece into a thin flat cake on a table dusted with flour. Place some meat filling on one half.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Cover the filling with dough and crimp the edge with a fork. Form chebureks from all the dough in this way.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with oil. Lay out the pasties and grease them with vegetable oil on top. If desired, instead of butter, you can grease the pasties with egg yolk. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Bake the pasties for approximately 25-30 minutes, they should become golden brown. Using a spatula, carefully remove the pasties from the baking sheet and place on a plate. Serve with hot vegetable soup or just tea. Bon appetit!

I made it according to your recipe. Not only is there a lot of flour in the recipe. Corrected it. But they don’t look much like chebureks, as if they were cookies with meat. I do not recommend cooking this recipe. The actual result differs from what is shown in the photo.
