Cauliflower casserole with cheese and cottage cheese

A wonderful recipe for a delicious casserole! Simple, fast and very tasty! I found this recipe when I was looking for healthy and wholesome food. It's called Cauliflower Casserole. Its advantage is that it is very simple to prepare. And all ingredients are practically not subjected to strong heat treatment. This suggests that food retains almost all the vitamins and microelements a person needs.

    First you need to take cauliflower. Peel it, separate it into inflorescences and wash them. Then transfer them to a saucepan. Cover the pan with a lid and place it on the fire. If the heat is too high and the cabbage may burn, then pour a tablespoon of water into it. The cabbage should brown a little. To do this, you must keep it on low heat for about 15 minutes.

    While the cabbage is on the stove, you can grate the cheese. Take a grater with fine holes. Take the eggs. Whisk them, add a little salt and mix with the cottage cheese.

    If the cauliflower has cooled down, chop it and add it to the cottage cheese. Mix everything thoroughly.

    Then add butter and finally cheese. Place the mixture in a pan with special baking paper on the bottom.

    Place the pan on low heat and leave it on the stove for 12 minutes.

There was just a head of cauliflower lying around, about half a kilo. I’ll prepare it now and post a photo.

In general, the dish was a success, but in my opinion it is better to cook it in the oven. At the first stage, even at the lowest heat and with water, the cabbage got slightly burnt and had to be peeled.
