I usually don’t defrost catfish completely before cooking, so I didn’t marinate the steaks, but simply sprinkled a marinade of vegetable oil, lemon juice and soy sauce on top. Out of caution, I added significantly less soy sauce to the marinade than indicated in the recipe, but in vain - it goes well with both the other ingredients of the marinade and the fish in general. So the recipe for catfish steaks in the oven is another great way to cook my favorite catfish, which I found on this site and will use in the future. Thank you!

The meat is juicy, very tasty and tender, there are almost no bones in it, the color of its meat is white, the consistency is dense, the taste is slightly sweet. I highly recommend sprinkling the finished steaks with lemon juice - very refreshing!
