I really like meat with potatoes and cheese, but this was the first time I cooked it this way and it certainly won’t be the last. I took minced beef and pork. Added salt, spices (ground black pepper, dried basil and a little smoked paprika). I mixed everything thoroughly and set it aside for a few minutes so that the salt dissolved and the spices began to reveal their aroma. I took a heat-resistant form, greased it with vegetable oil and began to lay everything out in layers, as indicated in the recipe. The only greens I had were frozen dill. Dill is my favorite “guest” of dishes and I add it almost everywhere. Even when frozen, the rich essential oils open up beautifully and give the dish a unique taste and aroma. The casserole of potatoes, minced meat, cheese in the oven took a little more than an hour to prepare, due to the peculiarities of my oven. During the cooking process, a lot of juice was released and the casserole did not turn out dry. Delicate, cheesy crust, baked so perfectly, like an airy blanket. Nourishing! Just no hassles!
