Creamy, 100% natural, incredibly tasty! Don't resist! Homemade cow candies turn out much tastier than store-bought ones. The composition includes only 4 ingredients, so they are also budget-friendly. The color can be adjusted by caramelizing the sugar - it can be either light or brown.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make candy cow at home? Prepare your food. The final result will depend on their quality, so choose natural dairy products without vegetable additives. How to choose dishes for cooking, read the article at the end of this recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Take a saucepan with a thick bottom - it is important that the candy mass is heated evenly. I will be cooking the cow with caramel to give the candy some color. To do this, part of the sugar will need to be turned into caramel. If you want light candy, skip this step. Pour 100 grams of sugar into a saucepan. Place it on low heat. Melt the sugar until it becomes caramel. There is no need to stir it, just shake the pan slightly.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

When the sugar has completely melted and acquired a caramel color, add the remaining sugar and milk. Warm is better, as temperature changes can cause the caramel to harden, as happened to me. This is not scary, with further heating everything will melt. Add butter and condensed milk to the saucepan.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cook the milk mass over low heat with constant stirring for 20-30 minutes. Be careful, the caramel is very hot, don't get burned. It is better to take a wooden spatula; silicone may not withstand high temperatures.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

The mass will gradually boil down, thicken and darken. This will be a sign that she is ready.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Remove the saucepan from the heat and cool slightly. Beat the mixture with a mixer. It will have to thicken even more. Mine didn’t want to thicken for a long time, I beat it for about 5 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Take a mold measuring 20*20cm. Cover it with cling film. Pour the candy mixture into the mold. Cool it to room temperature on the counter, then put it in the refrigerator. The mixture will harden in the refrigerator and can be cut with a knife.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

If the caramel does not want to harden in the refrigerator, then take it out and leave it in the open air for a day - the candies will become hard. Take out the frozen layer and cut it with a knife into candy-sized pieces.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Serve the cow candies made with milk and condensed milk, made with your own hands, to the table. Bon appetit!

I had some condensed milk left, I was looking for where I could use it. I found a very interesting recipe. The cow made candy at home. I also decided to add hazelnuts. I peeled and fried the hazelnuts in advance and cooled them. I didn’t regret the hazelnuts, I added a whole glass) I made light candies without caramel. After mixing all the ingredients in a non-stick frying pan, I cooked for 10 minutes over medium heat, the mass bubbled well. I put in the oil and boiled it down. The result was a thick, sweet and sticky mass. Then I mixed the hazelnuts into the mixture. I took a plastic bowl, laid out parchment and greased it with oil. I transferred the thick mass with nuts and smoothed it with a damp spoon. I put it in the refrigerator for literally half an hour. The mass froze very quickly. Then I cut it into small pieces with a slightly damp knife. This is how my cow candies with nuts turned out 😉 A very light and quick dessert! I don’t know about the children, but the adults were unstoppable😂Thank you so much for the great recipe!!!

Today Korovka made her own sweets. Extraordinary taste. It hardens very quickly. The mass at first is very similar to toffee. But when it froze, it was like a cow.

I love cows since childhood. The most beloved and most delicious! When I saw the recipe for cow candies made with milk and condensed milk, I immediately started making them. I just couldn’t miss this, they turned out simply divine! with a creamy taste and wonderful aroma. I made sweets in silicone molds, without caramel. Thank you very much!!
