Cake without eggs and milk

Step-by-step preparation
- STEP 1 - Let's look at the recipe for a simple shortbread honey cake with a layer of jam. This simple delicacy is prepared very quickly, but turns out tasty and tender. Pour the sifted wheat flour into a deep bowl. 
- STEP 2 - Add sugar, liquid honey (if you are not allergic to honey), and a pinch of salt. Mix the ingredients. 
- STEP 3 - Place margarine with vegetable fats, softened and chopped with a knife, into a bowl. Add baking powder or baking soda (half a teaspoon of baking soda and half a teaspoon of vinegar). 
- STEP 4 - Mix the mixture until an elastic, smooth dough is obtained. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. 
- STEP 5 - Take out the dough and divide it into four parts. Roll each piece into a thin rectangular layer, no more than 0.5 centimeters thick. We bake each layer of dough in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 20 minutes. 
- STEP 6 - Remove the cakes from the baking sheet, let them cool a little, make smooth edges, trim off any uneven edges. Use the leftover baked dough to make crumbs for topping. 
- STEP 7 - Grease the cooled cakes with any thick jam and stack them. 
- STEP 8 - Apply a thin layer of jam on top and sprinkle with shortbread crumbs. The cake is ready. We put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that the cakes are soaked. 
- STEP 9 - Serve the treat with tea, coffee or cocoa. Bon appetit!
