Cake Broken glass with sponge cake
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Let's prepare the required amount of ingredients according to the list: jelly of three different colors, gelatin, sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder.
STEP 2
Pour the contents of each jelly packet into boiling water and dissolve. One sachet requires 400 ml of boiling water. It is more convenient to dissolve jelly in half-liter jars. Leave the jelly jars to cool to room temperature.
STEP 3
In the meantime, prepare the sponge cake. To bake the biscuit, take a rectangular pan, line it with foil or baking paper and grease it with vegetable oil.
STEP 4
Now let's get to the sponge cake itself: beat the eggs into a container, add half a glass of sugar and vanilla sugar.
STEP 5
Beat the egg mass well with a mixer until the volume triples, about 4 minutes.
STEP 6
Then pour the flour and baking powder into the beaten eggs, mix quickly and knead for half a minute with a mixer at low speed.
STEP 7
Pour the biscuit dough into the prepared pan.
STEP 8
Place the pan with the dough in the oven, turn it on and bake the biscuit for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. The temperature should rise gradually.
STEP 9
Let the finished biscuit stand for 10 minutes in the switched off oven, then remove it from the mold and cool.
STEP 10
When the jelly has cooled to room temperature, pour it into containers; it is convenient to use plastic containers.
STEP 11
Place the containers with jelly in the refrigerator for 8 hours; the jelly should harden well and become elastic so that it can be cut.
STEP 12
When the jelly has hardened well, prepare the cake pan - it must be covered with cling film.
STEP 13
Cut the cooled biscuit into cubes.
STEP 14
We also cut the frozen jelly into cubes.
STEP 15
Place the colored jelly cubes in a large container.
STEP 16
Dissolve the gelatin in 2/3 cups of boiling water; the main thing is that it melts; there is no need to cool it.
STEP 17
Combine sour cream with half a glass of sugar, vanilla sugar and begin to beat. Beat with a mixer until the sugar dissolves, about two minutes.
STEP 18
Then pour gelatin into the sour cream mixture and mix with a mixer for another half a minute.
STEP 19
Pour the sour cream mixture over the jelly cubes and stir quickly.
STEP 20
Place half of the jelly mass into the prepared pan.
STEP 21
Place biscuit cubes on top of the jelly mixture.
STEP 22
Cover the biscuit with jelly mixture again.
STEP 23
Place the filled form in the refrigerator for two hours, longer if possible.
STEP 24
When the Broken Glass cake with sponge cake has hardened well, take it out of the refrigerator and remove the mold from it.
STEP 25
Then cover the top of the cake with a flat plate.
STEP 26
Turn the cake over onto a plate.
STEP 27
We release the cake from the cling film; it is easily separated without damaging the surface of the cake.
STEP 28
Broken glass cake with sponge cake is ready.
