Buns in a bread machine made from yeast dough
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make buns in a bread machine from yeast dough? Prepare the ingredients for the test. The indicated amount of flour is an approximate amount, it may take more or less, you will look at the dough. Use fast-acting yeast, as it does not need to be further activated before cooking.
STEP 2
First of all, melt the butter. Leave it to cool slightly. Place a paddle in the bread machine bucket. Heat the milk to a temperature of 37-38 degrees - it should become pleasantly warm to the touch, but not hot, so as not to kill the living yeast. Pour the milk into a bucket, followed by the melted butter. Add sugar and salt.
STEP 3
Sift the flour. I sift it directly into a bucket, you can sift it into a separate bowl and then add it to the milk. Make a small well in the center of the flour and pour the yeast into it. In my model, this is the order in which the products are added - first liquid, then flour and yeast, and the yeast should not touch the liquid. See the instructions for how to do it in your model.
STEP 4
Place the bucket in the device. Launch the dough preparation program. The bread maker will begin kneading the dough. Now watch carefully how this will happen. If the dough is very liquid, add a little more flour. If it remains dry during kneading, pour in a little more warm milk. The dough ball should eventually become smooth, uniform and pull away from the walls. When this happens, close the lid and leave the dough to continue cooking.
STEP 5
While the bun dough is rising in the bread machine, prepare the ingredients for the filling. Melt the butter and leave to cool. Use any sugar, I really like cane sugar - it gives the baked goods a caramel taste.
STEP 6
After the signal, open the lid - the dough should become soft, fluffy, and increased in volume. Take it out of the bucket and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
STEP 7
Round each piece - gather the edges towards the center with a knot, turn them over and roll them under your palm without pressing until you get a round piece.
STEP 8
Roll the ball into a round cake 5mm thick. The dough is not sticky, so there is no need to add flour. Grease the circle with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
STEP 9
Fold the ends of the tortilla over each other.
STEP 10
Fold the opposite edges of the folded dough towards the center. Turn the workpiece over and make cuts on both sides with a sharp knife. Spread the edges slightly to the sides, forming something like a bow. Make buns using all the dough this way.
STEP 11
Transfer them to a baking tray lined with baking paper. You can brush the dough with egg or milk before baking.
STEP 12
Bake the buns in the oven preheated to 200°C for 20-25 minutes. Focus on your oven and the size of the products. The buns should become golden brown. Remove them from the oven and cool.
STEP 13
Dust the buns with powdered sugar before serving. Bon appetit!
