Bulgur with milk
Healthy and flavorful porridge made with bulgur milk. Milk porridges are familiar to all of us, but those made from bulgur are rare. The result is a rather unusual, but very tasty dish with a pleasant nutty aroma. This thick porridge can be served with sweet sauces or jams.
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to cook bulgur porridge? Prepare all ingredients.
STEP 2

Pour the milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
STEP 3

While the milk is heating, melt the butter in a hot frying pan.
STEP 4

Pour the bulgur into the oil and stir.
STEP 5

Fry the bulgur over low heat until brown and nutty.
STEP 6

Now pour the fried bulgur into the milk and stir.
STEP 7

Add salt and sugar to taste and stir.
STEP 8

Cook the porridge for 20 minutes over low heat. Then cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes.
STEP 9

Place the hot porridge on a plate and serve with a glass of milk or a cup of tea. If desired, bulgur milk porridge can be decorated with fresh berries, dried fruits, and nuts. Bon appetit!
