  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make brushwood with sour cream? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the eggs and dry them with napkins. Beat the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a mixer and sugar.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Add sour cream, soda to the egg mixture and stir.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Gradually adding flour, knead the dough. The dough should be airy, soft, and not sticky to your hands. Focus on the consistency of the dough, and not on the volume of flour - you may need more or less of it than I did.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Divide the dough into 3 parts.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Roll out the dough on a board 0.5-1 centimeter thick. Before doing this, dust the table with flour.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cut out stars or any other shapes. You can make circles using a glass or glass. You can wrap brushwood the way your grandmothers did, in the classic way. You can cut them with a special knife into strips with curly edges.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Take a saucepan, preferably of small diameter, so you will need less vegetable oil. Pour vegetable oil into it and bring it to a boil.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Dip the brushwood into the oil and fry until golden brown. It is better to remove the finished brushwood with a slotted spoon to allow the oil to drain. You can place the brushwood on paper towels, and then transfer it to a dish.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Sprinkle the brushwood with powdered sugar and serve. Enjoy your tea!!!

Interesting option. I usually cook brushwood according to the classic recipe without sour cream and kefir, but with vodka. But I think it will also be delicious with sour cream. I'll try.

This brushwood with sour cream turns out to be both tender and crispy at the same time. And not many ingredients were needed. I decided to make brushwood of a non-classical shape, and cut it out with a star shape using a cookie cutter. Delicious!
