Bird cherry cake with sour cream

First, let's prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Pour the bird cherry into a convenient bowl, bring the milk to a boil and pour it over the bird cherry. Leave for 2-3 hours.
STEP 3
After this, beat the egg with sugar. You can do it manually. Not necessarily a mixer.
STEP 4
Then pour the egg and sugar mixture into the bird cherry. Mix.
STEP 5
Sift the flour separately and add baking powder.
STEP 6
And mix with bird cherry in small portions. The dough turns out like thick sour cream.
STEP 7
Divide the dough into two parts and bake in two separate layers at a temperature of 180 degrees. Each cake should take us no more than fifteen minutes.
STEP 8
While the cakes are cooling, make the cream. To do this, beat sour cream, the fat content of which is at least twenty percent, with sugar until fluffy and homogeneous.
STEP 9
When the cakes have cooled completely, coat them liberally with sour cream.
STEP 10
Sprinkle a little cocoa on top. Here is my little assistant demonstrating the finished cake. Then let it soak and stand in the refrigerator for at least six hours. Done! Enjoy your tea!
