To diversify the diet, I cooked soup with barley. This combination is unusual for us, but I have already tried this soup and liked it. I cooked it with chicken breast bones, the broth was rich and there was quite a lot of meat. I cut the potatoes into cubes and fried the onions and carrots. All that remains is to combine and boil. I washed the cereal in advance and soaked it in hot water so that the starch came out and the soup was not cloudy. The soup cooked quickly, which is a huge plus! It turned out to be quite filling, but at the same time light. The taste of the cereal is felt very little. In general, all products are harmoniously combined. I also liked that the carrots poached in oil gave a pleasant orange color to the broth. The soup is delicious, we liked it!

Thank you, it’s delicious, BUT, there is a correction: fried foods are probably not very good on a diet. I would recommend just poaching the onions and carrots.
