Baileys liqueur

An alcoholic drink with a dizzying aroma! Bomb! Making Baileys liqueur at home is absolutely not difficult. The difference with the original is almost invisible. You can drink it neat, make layered cocktails with it, or even use it to soak sponge cakes.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make Baileys liqueur at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use any cream, but keep in mind that the lower the fat percentage of the cream, the more liquid the liqueur will be. The preparation of this homemade alcoholic drink must begin by choosing a suitable container. I chose a blender glass with a measuring scale. So, pour condensed milk into the container.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

    Next, pour in the cream.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add a shot of freshly brewed but slightly cooled espresso. If you want a slightly less pronounced coffee taste, add half the serving.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

It's time to add Irish whiskey to your glass. If you replace whiskey with bourbon, there won't be much of a difference. If you want to make this recipe more budget-friendly, you can replace the whiskey with vodka or diluted alcohol. But in this case, keep in mind that the taste of the drink will change. Here it directly depends on the alcohol base. The better quality it is, the better the liquor in the end. Basically, I tried Baileys with good expensive vodka, and I liked it.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Add vanilla for flavor.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Using an immersion blender, blend all liqueur ingredients until smooth. And it would be better to leave it in the refrigerator overnight so that all the components combine into a single symphony of tastes and aromas. Enjoy your tasting!

I have long wanted to make Baileys liqueur at home. And finally I got to him. I bought 20 percent cream for liqueur, took vodka instead of whiskey, and used homemade condensed milk. I mixed all the ingredients with a mixer. Still, as the author noted, it is better to use thicker cream. The consistency will be more viscous. The taste is very pleasant and delicate. I tried real Baileys about 15 years ago, and it’s hard for me to say how similar the resulting liqueur is to the original. But the fact that it turned out very pleasant and tasty is unambiguous. Thank you very much for the recipe!

When I read the name of the recipe, I doubted that such a liqueur could be prepared quickly and with an identical taste, but as it turned out, it was in vain! Since I had all the ingredients on hand, I immediately started cooking. My husband loves this liqueur very much, and when I gave him your liqueur to try, he did not understand and did not believe that I had prepared it myself. Thank you very much!

I really liked your recipe, I want to make this liqueur for March 8th. Please tell me which vodka is better to buy: is it more expensive, or is it not important?

And I would add a little Irish Cream coffee syrup, then you won’t be able to distinguish it from the original at all!

I don’t know how to say it, but the photo is somehow stylishly original, pleasantly beautiful, well, in general, not like everyone else, and it’s very eye-catching, you want to admire it and not take your eyes off it! And everything seems to be so simple...
