Apple jelly without gelatin

An original recipe for bright, delicious jelly without gelatin! Since childhood, I have had an incredible love for jelly. I remember I even tried to cook it myself a couple of times, but in vain. A couple of years ago, I came across an interesting culinary recipe for apple jelly without gelatin in one of the magazines and, having prepared this sweetness, I was amazed at its simplicity and, most importantly, its taste. I want to tell you about this recipe.

So, we start by washing the apples, removing the core and cutting them into 4 parts.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

After this, transfer the prepared fruits into a saucepan and pour water into half the mass of apples. Place the container on the fire and cook for 30 minutes over medium heat.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

After this time, thoroughly drain the broth. Transfer the resulting water to another non-aluminum pan, add granulated sugar (1 kilogram of sugar 1.5 liters of juice).

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place on high heat and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer. On average, it takes 50-60 minutes to boil (it took me an hour and 10 minutes).

  6. STEP 6

That's all, our homemade apple jelly is ready. All that remains is to pour it into bowls or jars and wait until it cools down. After this, it can be served.

It looks like jelly and doesn't flow. But it's too sweet.

Valeria Blinova, Victor, tell me, which jelly with gelatin did you like better, or this one that you suggest? As you write, the taste is too sweet, but the apple taste is well expressed? So, of course, it’s healthy without gelatin, everything is natural, but from apples alone - I don’t really know (I’ll have to try it)

Shura, the broth is boiled down and a syrup is obtained. Sooooo thick. Behind the sweetness of the syrup there is no taste of apples. Try making a small portion and tell me how it turned out for you :)
