Apple coconut cake

This cake is for coconut and chocolate lovers! Who loves coconut? That way! This cake is just the bomb! I really liked the recipe, so I recommend it. The dominant flavor is coconut and chocolate. Apples give it a slight sourness.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

We take such products. Apples, flour, butter, coconut, sugar, eggs.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. We need squirrels: 2 pieces and 5 pieces separately.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place soft butter, 1 cup sugar, and all the yolks into a cup. Beat it all well.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then add flour and baking powder. Mix.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Beat 2 egg whites until stiff.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Mix these whites into the dough.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Divide the dough in half. And add cocoa to one part.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Beat 5 egg whites with 250g sugar until stiff. Stir in starch and coconut flakes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Peel and grate the apples. Lightly squeeze out the juice.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Take a form and cover it with paper. I have 32 by 20 cm. Lay out the dark dough. We smear it carefully.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Place coconut on top

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

    Next are apples.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Cover everything with light dough. Spread it over the entire surface with a spoon and carefully spread it with a spatula. If it feels nervous, don’t worry, it will even out during baking. Place in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 45 minutes.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Take it out when it’s ready and let it cool. And pour glaze over it. To do this, mix hot cream with chocolate.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

The poured pie should stand until it cools. Then we cut it into cakes. Bon appetit.

Yes, the cakes look very tempting. Thank you, Yesenia, for the recipe. At the same time I turn to Anna. Anna, thank you very much for the gifts. I can’t send either a gift or a message, some kind of glitch occurs. Therefore, do not be offended that I do not respond to gifts.

It turned out very tasty. But I added less sugar, not 500 grams, but 1 glass (200 grams) to the dough and 1 glass (200 grams) to the coconut. If I added 500 grams, then it soon turned out cloying.
