  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

In this recipe I will tell you how to fry beef Wiener schnitzel. We prepare all the products we need according to the list.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the beef meat into 4 pieces, carefully beat it with a wooden or iron kitchen hammer on both sides and add salt to taste.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Whisk the eggs in a deep bowl and add a little salt. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

We prepare everything for the batter and breading: beaten eggs, sifted flour and breadcrumbs. Pour flour and crackers into flat plates separately from each other.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then we roll our schnitzels first in flour, then dip them in the egg, and then bread them in breadcrumbs and put them in a frying pan. Fry on both sides over medium heat until a golden crust appears. Place the fried schnitzel on a paper towel to absorb fat. Instead of vegetable oil, you can use butter and fry the meat in it - the taste will be slightly different, but no worse.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the finished Wiener schnitzel on a heated plate with lettuce, sprinkle with lemon juice, and garnish with parsley sprigs and lemon slices. You can serve it with or without a side dish. Enjoy juicy meat with an incredibly tasty crust! Bon appetit!

We were in Austria in Vienna in the summer and there I tried a real Austrian schnitzel! Girls, words cannot describe how delicious it is! ))) It’s true that it’s quite expensive, because they use veal, and this is considered the most expensive meat for them. So, we returned from Austria and I was so inspired and decided to make something similar, but from chicken! Of course, this is not a real schnitzel, but it is still very juicy and appetizing, and most importantly, my friend taught me how to make a simple and quick sauce for it. She takes mayonnaise. A little sour cream and adds the Knor seasoning “crispy schnitzel with Russian sauce.” The breading is already there, which is convenient! True, I still don’t understand why the sauce is “Russian style” if schnitzel is an Austrian dish, but oh well! ))) The main thing is that everyone is happy and everyone likes how my chicken turns out with this sauce! ))
