Apple compote for the winter
They are useful for both children and adults; they retain all the vitamins and nutrients of summer fruits, even after heat treatment. Compotes can be made from apple fruits alone. Different varieties give the drink a special taste. Sweet and sour varieties, ripe and aromatic, are suitable. During the cooking process, they will not lose their shape and will not turn into porridge. Granulated sugar is used as a sweetener. The apples are washed thoroughly, the skin is cut off if desired, and the core and seeds are removed.
To diversify the recipe, other fruits and berries are added to apples: strawberries, apricots, gooseberries, plums, viburnum, as well as mint sprigs, cloves, and tarragon.
