  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make yeast dough with sour cream? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance. This will fill it with oxygen and remove any existing lumps of flour. Thanks to the sifted flour, the finished baked goods are more airy. Remove the sour cream from the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to warm up to room temperature. Use warm (but not hot) water for the test.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough, take a comfortable, spacious bowl. Combine sugar and dry yeast in a bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour warm water into the bowl, stir and leave to stand for 5-8 minutes. This is necessary so that the yeast in the dough starts working faster.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Next, add salt and egg to the bowl.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add prepared sour cream to the bowl. You can warm up the sour cream a little in the microwave. The main thing is that it is not cold. A cold ingredient will slow down the work of the yeast and the dough will rise worse. Mix all ingredients until smooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Gradually add sifted flour into the bowl and knead the dough. At first it is convenient to use a wooden spatula for kneading, and then knead the dough with your hands. Depending on the consistency of the finished dough, you may need more or less flour.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The finished dough with sour cream and yeast is soft, tender and does not stick to your hands. Cover the dough with a towel and place in a warm place for 1 hour.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

The dough turned out great! You can knead it and start baking pies or pies.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

I made fried pies. The dough inside is soft and porous. Enjoy cooking!

Today I made yeast dough with sour cream for my favorite buns. The dough turned out great! Lush, airy, plastic. I used sour cream for the dough with a fat content of 20%. I first took it and the egg out of the refrigerator so that they warmed up at room temperature. I diluted the yeast in a small amount of warm water, after a few minutes the yeast began to work, and a foamy cap formed on the surface of the water. I combined all the ingredients and kneaded the dough in a deep bowl. In it, I left the dough in a warm place for one hour so that it would rise. I baked little buns from it. They came out so soft and tender, just super! The recipe is wonderful! I recommend it to everyone! Thank you very much!

I really liked the dough - it is soft, easy to mold, and does not stick to your hands. I made pies out of it and saved some for pizza. I prepared it a few days later, meaning the dough was in the refrigerator. Not that I really needed it)) just for the sake of experiment. It turned out to be a plump American pizza. And I don’t even know what was better about it: the filling or the dough! Thanks for the recipe!
