I really like preparing dough in a bread machine: fast, simple, very convenient. I first poured water into the bowl of the bread machine, then poured sifted flour, salt and yeast (in different corners of the bowl), sugar and butter, cut into pieces. It took an hour and a half to knead and rise the dough. I wanted to bake egg pies using yeast dough for pies in a bread machine, but my daughter asked me to make donuts. I wasn't sure that this dough would be suitable for donuts. But trying is not torture. I fried donuts at my daughter's request. The donuts turned out very fluffy and soft. They turned out denser than if made from donut dough. They are not sweet, they taste a little like pies. But it’s very tasty with powdered sugar. Thank you very much for the recipe!
