    How to bake a whole chicken in a sleeve with a crust? Prepare all the necessary products. Take a medium-sized bird, preferably about one and a half kilograms, be sure to be chilled and well gutted.

    Wash the chicken well, pat dry with paper towels, and remove any feathers if necessary.

    Salt the chicken on all sides. I take regular white salt without additives, but you can also use flavored salt: for example, Svan or Adyghe salt.

    Pepper the chicken on all sides. You can take any type of hot pepper: black or red. If you don't like it spicy, you can use ground paprika for a more beautiful color.

    Add chopped garlic to the chicken. I put the clove through a press, but you can also grate the clove on a fine grater or chop it with a knife. It is also possible to use garlic powder, but since we are cooking in a sleeve, the garlic will not burn, so it is better to use fresh. If you wish, you can rub the chicken with some other seasonings: suneli hops, Provençal herbs and any other dried seasonings.

    Place the chicken in a roasting pan. You can add a sprig of fresh rosemary, thyme or mint to the sleeve for aroma, and maybe a few slices of lemon. Secure the edge of the sleeve with a special clip.

    Using a toothpick, make several punctures in the sleeve to allow excess steam to escape during cooking. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. For the first 30 minutes, I recommend baking directly in the sleeve, then, if you want to get a crispy, aromatic crust, cut the top of the baking sleeve and bring the chicken until fully cooked. To be sure, make a cut in the thigh area - clear meat juice should flow out, not blood. The chicken is ready!

The chicken, I honestly admit to you, turned out to be very tender, aromatic, juicy and tasty. Just what you need for a family of four. There are many recipes for cooking chicken, I chose one recipe that I liked and prepared a whole chicken in the oven with a crust for the holiday table. It is prepared without preliminary marinating, which is what attracted attention. I coated the chicken with salt, spices, chopped garlic, and added aromatic herbs. She put the chicken in her sleeve and secured it with a clip. I made several punctures with a toothpick to allow steam to escape and put it in the oven at 180° for 1 hour. Thanks for the recipe! Cooking a whole chicken is not so easy; the quality and freshness of the chicken itself is especially important. I prefer to take only chilled poultry from the chicken kingdom like or loops. Clean, fresh and meaty chicken, a pleasure to cook and eat!!)
