Veal steak in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and packaging in advance and let them warm up. Salt and pepper on both sides.
STEP 2
Heat the pan until smoking, add 1 tbsp. sunflower oil and place the steaks in the pan.
STEP 3
Fry for a minute on each side.
STEP 4
If there is a fatty edge (like a ribeye steak, for example), place the steaks on their sides and lean them against the wall of the pan.
STEP 5
Hold at an angle and let the fat melt out.
STEP 6
Continue cooking for a minute on each side, turning each time. Add crushed garlic and thyme.
STEP 7
Add butter and another spoonful of sunflower oil. Pour the juice over the steaks and fry until desired doneness. Soft - with blood, harder - medium-done, and well elastic - well-done. If the meat is hard, the steak is overcooked, you can send it for goulash (if that happens).
STEP 8
Place the steaks to rest on a board and then cut into slices.
