Unleavened dough made with kefir

Low-cost, tender and fluffy dough without yeast or eggs. I used the prepared dough for pies. The pies turned out delicious, especially the dough itself.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Warm the kefir slightly, just don’t overheat it. Pour sugar, salt into it, pour in vegetable oil, mix everything well. DO NOT ADD SODA!!! Gradually add flour. The dough should be elastic, but in no case tight, so do not add all the flour at once, but only not in very large portions. If the dough turns out to be very tight, then it will not have air bubbles, which give our dough an amazing taste.

We roll it out again into a layer 1 cm thick, sprinkle it with soda and fold it in the same way. Then we roll it out again and repeat everything again. As a result, we have to roll it out 3 times, sprinkle it with soda and fold the dough. Each time the dough becomes more fluffier and more porous.
