STEP 1

How to make oven-baked turkey thigh fillet? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You will need boneless turkey thigh fillet. If necessary, defrost the meat by moving it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator in advance. When it thaws, rinse it, dry it with paper towels, and cut off the skin if you have one.
STEP 2

In a bowl, mix sour cream of any fat content (a heaping tablespoon) and ready-made mustard. Salt and pepper to taste. Peel the garlic cloves and cut into thin slices. Sour cream can be replaced with cream, natural yogurt without additives.
STEP 3

Take any heat-resistant pan with high sides. I have a ceramic one, but glass or metal will do. Lightly grease it with refined vegetable oil. If you have a silicone mold, you don’t need to grease it additionally; the meat won’t burn. Transfer turkey fillet. Coat it on all sides with a mixture of sour cream and mustard.
STEP 4

Distribute the chopped garlic evenly over the meat. Cover the form with a lid of food foil. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least an hour (or better yet, overnight). The longer the meat is marinated, the softer and tastier it will be.
STEP 5

In advance (10-15 minutes before cooking), preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the marinated turkey thigh fillet for 1 hour or more. The longer the meat is in the oven under the lid, the juicier and more tender it will be. Since everyone's oven bakes differently, times and temperatures may vary. Focus on the features of your technology. How to check readiness? If it can be easily pierced with a knife and clear juice flows out, it is ready.
STEP 6

Remove the foil and cook the turkey for another 10 minutes to brown the top. Serve the finished meat hot. Boiled potatoes, rice, and vegetables are suitable as a side dish. When chilled, the meat is perfect for slicing. Pairs well with red wine.
