Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

In order to prepare tomatoes with grapes for the winter, prepare ripe tomatoes that are not very large, without damage, and of the correct shape. You will also need grapes. Any will do, but preference is given to seedless varieties. In addition to these products, you will need a little salt, granulated sugar, 9% vinegar and dry spices to taste.
STEP 2

The indicated quantity of products is calculated for 1 liter jar. Prepare the container: rinse the jar thoroughly with baking soda, then pour over boiling water. Place dry spices on the bottom. This can be bay leaf, allspice, black peppercorns, cloves, mustard seeds. Also put a peeled garlic clove in the jar. You can add some herbs to taste.
STEP 3

Wash the tomatoes and grapes. Remove the stems from the tomatoes and separate the grapes from the stem. Fill the prepared jar alternately with tomatoes and grapes. Grapes fill in the empty spaces between tomatoes very well. Gradually pour boiling water over the tomatoes and grapes until the food is completely covered. Cover with a sterile lid and let stand for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 4

Drain the water from the tomatoes and grapes into a saucepan, add salt and granulated sugar to the water, and put the vinegar directly into the jar. Bring the brine to a boil and re-pour the tomatoes and grapes. Immediately seal the jar hermetically, turn it upside down and wrap it in a warm scarf, blanket, or blanket. Leave it like this until it cools completely. Store in a cellar or pantry.
