That's all the necessary ingredients for the fruit drink. Now is the season for fresh strawberries, but you can also use frozen berries, just increase the amount of sugar a little - for some reason frozen berries are more sour than fresh ones

Wash and sort the strawberries, remove the stems
STEP 3
At this stage there are several options - squeeze out the juice using a juicer or wipe with a blender and squeeze the juice through a sieve or cheesecloth

I squeezed out the juice through cheesecloth. To be honest, this process took me longer than I would have liked, because the juice did not want to pass through the holes in the gauze. I think it would be faster through a sieve, but with a juicer it’s a blast...

Place the pulp in a saucepan

And we put the juice in the refrigerator - firstly, it will cool down, and secondly, all the vitamins that the berries are so rich in will be preserved

Add sugar and water to the pan
STEP 9
Place on the stove and bring to a boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
STEP 10
Strain the syrup through cheesecloth to avoid any pits.
STEP 11
Cool the resulting strawberry syrup
STEP 12
Mix with strawberry juice
STEP 13
Our vitamin juice is ready
STEP 14
Serve with ice
