Strawberry juice

Super vitamin lighting drink is simply irreplaceable in the summer heat! To be honest, I’ve only tried store-bought cranberry juice before, but I’ve never made it myself. But now it's strawberry season - and I thought, "Why not make this amazing drink myself?" No sooner said than done! It turned out simply amazing - everyone, without exception, loved it! And it is prepared very, very simply...

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

That's all the necessary ingredients for the fruit drink. Now is the season for fresh strawberries, but you can also use frozen berries, just increase the amount of sugar a little - for some reason frozen berries are more sour than fresh ones

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash and sort the strawberries, remove the stems

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

At this stage there are several options - squeeze out the juice using a juicer or wipe with a blender and squeeze the juice through a sieve or cheesecloth

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    I used a blender

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

I squeezed out the juice through cheesecloth. To be honest, this process took me longer than I would have liked, because the juice did not want to pass through the holes in the gauze. I think it would be faster through a sieve, but with a juicer it’s a blast...

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the pulp in a saucepan

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

And we put the juice in the refrigerator - firstly, it will cool down, and secondly, all the vitamins that the berries are so rich in will be preserved

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add sugar and water to the pan

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place on the stove and bring to a boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sugar dissolves.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Strain the syrup through cheesecloth to avoid any pits.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Cool the resulting strawberry syrup

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

    Mix with strawberry juice

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

    Our vitamin juice is ready

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

    Serve with ice

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Mmmmmm... Much tastier than store bought!

nasstin, oh what a drink! I just want to dive there under an umbrella and enjoy the coolness and not come out of there until winter - drink and enjoy, enjoy and drink... Very good recipe, even the cake was used, nothing was wasted. Thank you very much!!! <br />

I join Irochka.....it’s very pleasant to drink and chat, and this fruit drink should also have an awesome color. And even though fruit drink is not about me (I’m lazy for that), I’ll risk sharing my strawberry experience: no matter what I do with strawberries, I add a little (as many as 2-3 or a handful) of strawberries. It does not change the taste and gives a unique aroma, such that everyone will come running for the treat.
