Stewed sauerkraut with carrots and bell peppers

An excellent side dish for a meat dish! And also a filling for pies! Tasty. An excellent side dish for meat dishes. Stewed sauerkraut is good both as an independent dish and as a filling for pies.

I liked the combination of sauerkraut and fresh cabbage; bell and hot peppers also complemented the finished dish well, but I did not add tomato solely due to personal taste preferences. The cabbage turned out very tasty! Thanks to the author for the recipe.

A very unexpected recipe for me. I always thought that sauerkraut was a separate, independent dish. I think you can experiment with spices.

You can, of course, experiment. I think the taste of the dish will only get better.

Larisa! The cabbage turned out so delicious! Amazing! I tried to stew fresh cabbage earlier, but according to your recipe I decided to stew sauerkraut, I liked the second one more, it has a more piquant taste than the first, bland one. I didn’t have time to use the filling; it was gobbled up without a trace. Thanks for the recipe!
