For lunch I made stewed cabbage with meat in a saucepan. Having started cooking, the first thing I did was fry the pork cut into pieces (I took it instead of beef). I had 250 - 300 g of meat. Separately, I fried the carrots and onions. Finely chopped cabbage. I put the meat and vegetables into a saucepan, added salt, bay leaves, tomato paste and sugar diluted in water, and simmered on low heat under the lid for one hour. It turned out delicious! The secret ingredient, that is, sugar, worked very well, emphasizing and enhancing the sugariness of the cabbage, it came out very pleasant to the taste.
