Steamed meat

Low-fat steamed meats are used for baby and diet food. Steamed meat is a healthy, dietary product, especially if you take lean varieties of beef and pork and do not use hot spices in cooking. Steamed pork neck turns out very juicy and tender, and it can be served either hot or chilled, using it for sandwiches.

I usually bake or fry meat. But sometimes you want variety. I decided to steam the meat. I don’t have a double boiler, so I had to build a special structure: I poured water into a ladle and placed an aluminum colander on top. It turned out to be a homemade steamer. According to the author’s advice, I put an onion and bay leaf in the water. I beat the pork and rubbed it with salt and pepper. I didn't have cumin. I stuck a few clove stars between the pieces of meat. I steamed the meat for 40 minutes: the meat pieces were cooked for 20 minutes on one side, 20 minutes on the other. My homemade steamer was on low heat. The meat turned out very tasty, juicy and tender. The cloves added their aroma. I liked this recipe, it was simple and quick. Thank you!

I needed boiled meat for the salad; I wanted to make it as aromatic and tasty as possible. I found an excellent alternative on the site - steamed meat. For cooking, I chose a piece of pork with small streaks of fat. I cut them and beat them through cling film. Placed the meat in a deep bowl, seasoned with salt, pepper and sprinkled with oil. I don’t like it when I get cumin seeds on my clove, so I added them to the water. I also put a sprig of parsley, bay leaves, sweet peas and cloves there. I poured cold water and within an hour the pork was perfectly cooked. The meat was saturated with the aromas of spices. The oil prevented the meat from drying out. This is delicious! I tasted a couple of pieces right away and left the rest for the salad.
