We will prepare a simple classic solyanka with sausage – boiled and smoked without meat. So, first, peel half a kilogram of potatoes, 300 g of onions, take 300 grams of pickled cucumbers from a jar, salt the liquid from a small jar or bag of pitted green olives, and take a full tablespoon of tomato paste. Let's prepare 300 grams of boiled sausage and 100 grams. smoked For frying, a little vegetable oil, salt and lemon.

Cut the potatoes into large cubes.
STEP 3
Fill the chopped potatoes in a saucepan with water and set to cook over high heat. From the moment it boils, cook it over medium heat for 15 minutes.

Now cut the onion into small cubes.
STEP 5
Following the onion, we also cut the boiled and smoked sausage into cubes.
STEP 6
Pour the chopped onions and sausage into a frying pan with vegetable oil.
STEP 7
We also place the frying pan with onions and sausage on the stove and first fry for a couple of minutes over high heat, and then 10 minutes over medium, stirring.

While the potatoes are boiling and the sausage and onions are frying, cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes.

Cut green olives into rings - cut each olive crosswise into 3-4 rings.

After 10 minutes of frying, add tomato paste to the sausage in the frying pan.
STEP 11
Reduce the heat, mix the sausage and pasta thoroughly and sauté over low heat for about 10 minutes.
STEP 12
By this time, the potatoes in the pan will already be boiled, and transfer the sausage and onions in the tomato sauce into the pan.
STEP 13
After a minute, add chopped pickled cucumbers and olives to the pan.
STEP 14
After another minute, add salt to the soup and mix well.
STEP 15
Cover the pan with hodgepodge with a lid, let it simmer over low heat for another minute and turn off the heat. The classic hodgepodge with sausage is ready, but let it brew for another 10 minutes.
STEP 16
Pour the hot hodgepodge into plates and add a thin slice of lemon to each serving.
STEP 17
And the solyanka will be even tastier if you serve it with sour cream.
