  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry semolina in a frying pan? Prepare your food. You can prepare semolina with milk or a mixture of milk and water. Some of the cereal can be replaced with coconut flakes. In addition to dried apricots, you can add any other dried fruits to the porridge - raisins, prunes, dates, dried cherries and cranberries. If you use coconut or peanut butter instead of butter, the porridge will turn out vegetarian and lean.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

The porridge cooks very quickly, so prepare all the ingredients in advance. Wash the dried apricots well, you can pour boiling water over them, then dry with paper towels. Cut the dried apricots into small pieces.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat a frying pan over low heat, it is better if it has a non-stick coating and a thick bottom. Pour semolina into it. Fry the cereal for a few minutes, stirring with a spatula.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

When the semolina acquires a pleasant nutty aroma and a light golden color, pour water into it. Pour in the water carefully, in a thin stream, stirring the cereal without stopping. It is this method - pouring liquid into the cereal, and not vice versa, that will eliminate lumps from the porridge. You can change the amount of liquid up or down, thus adjusting the thickness of the porridge.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

When all the water has been added, add sugar, salt, and dried apricots to the porridge. Boil the porridge for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

At the very end, add butter and stir.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve the porridge to the table. Bon appetit!

For breakfast, I prepared semolina fried in a frying pan for the child. Manki took three heaped tablespoons, which made just one serving. I fried it and added sugar and water and mixed thoroughly. The cereal dispersed well in the water and as a result there were no lumps in the finished porridge. I added a little butter to the already prepared breakfast. The porridge went with a bang! Thanks for the recipe!
