  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make jam from seedless grapes? You can immediately choose a seedless variety, but if you don’t have one, that’s okay too. Take grapes with seeds, sugar, water and citric acid. You can use any thickeners - agar-agar, pectin, zhelfix.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the grapes well, separate from the branches and dry. You can use overripe grapes in this recipe; according to the cooking technology, we will not need the integrity of the berries.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the grapes in a saucepan or basin for making jam - copper, as is customary, enameled or glass - according to the modern version, it is very convenient. Boil the grapes over low heat until the berries are completely softened. This does not take much time - from the moment of boiling, about 10-15 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

You can make jam with whole berries - then you and your guests will have to constantly remove the seeds when consuming it, which, you see, is not entirely convenient. Therefore, I found and offer you another way to make jam from seedless grapes, namely, to get rid of them using a regular sieve.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Rub the grapes through a sieve. In this case, not only the seeds will remain on the sieve, but also the rather dense and harsh skin of the berries.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The remaining cake, if desired, can be used to make compote or wine; it can be given to poultry if you have a farm (this, of course, is done in areas where grapes are imported; in places where they grow, the waste is simply thrown away as unnecessary due to the abundance of raw materials).

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Bring the grape juice with pulp that we got to a boil and gradually add sugar into it. You may need a little more or less sugar - taste it, the sweetness of the jam depends on the type of grapes you use. When the sugar dissolves, add a pinch of citric acid - it will lighten the resulting product and add the necessary sourness if the jam turns out to be simply monotonously sweet when using sweet grape varieties.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Boil the jam to the desired thickness or add thickeners according to package instructions. Pour the finished hot seedless grape jam into sterile jars and close tightly. You can send it under a fur coat if you wish, but this is not necessary in this case. This jam can be stored indoors.
