STEP 1
How to fry salmon steak on a grill pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. When choosing fish, pay attention to the smell, color and firmness. Steaks should have a fresh, mild sea flavor. In color they should be soft coral, without saturated color spots, with thin streaks of fat near the skin. The pulp should not be slimy and spread into fibers under light pressure. In addition to salmon, you can use any red fish.
STEP 2
You can use ready-made steaks or cut your own. I had a whole piece of fillet that I cut into steaks. It is most convenient to cut slightly frozen fish into steaks. Then the cut will be more even. Rinse the salmon steaks and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle the fish with spices on both sides and pepper to taste. Leave the fish to marinate for about 15 minutes.
STEP 3

Place the steaks in the frying pan and fry over high heat for about 4 minutes. Then turn the fish over and fry for another 3-4 minutes. The exact time depends on the size of the steaks, the pan you choose, and the operating characteristics of your stove.
STEP 4
Turn off the heat and leave the steaks covered in the cooling pan for about 10 minutes.
