STEP 1
How to make rice with tomato paste in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. It is best to take steamed long grain rice. This kind of rice is less boiled, so you are more likely to get fluffy rice rather than rice porridge.
STEP 2
Peel the onion, rinse in cool water to remove dirt and finely chop.
STEP 3
Heat a frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Place the chopped onion in the pan and fry it for a couple of minutes until translucent. It will become softer.
STEP 4
Then add tomato paste to the pan. Add parika and spices. I use a mixture of ground peppers as a spice. Mix everything.
STEP 5
Next, add rice to the pan and stir it together with the onion. Heat the rice in the pan for a minute.
STEP 6
Then pour hot water over the rice. Add salt. Cover with a lid and leave to simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes. Check the readiness of the rice. The rice should become soft and absorb all the water.
STEP 7
If the rice is still a little hard, but there is no more water, then you can add a little more. Remove the finished rice from the heat and leave to stand under the lid for 5-10 minutes. Rice with tomato paste can be served with any meat or fish dish. Bon appetit!
