Rice with stew in a slow cooker cooks very quickly. This is just a great option when you don’t have time, but you need to cook dinner. For this dish, I took a good beef stew and disassembled it into fibers. Meanwhile, the onions and carrots were fried in a slow cooker. The time was set to 15 minutes, taking into account the heating of the bowl and vegetable oil. 5 minutes before the end, I added the stew and cooked until the end of the program. Then I added well-washed rice and poured in water. The 1:2 ratio is correct, I always do this. It is very important to salt the rice enough, because it takes a lot of salt. I put a head of garlic on top for flavor. Next I cooked in the “pilaf” mode; I can’t set the time, so I trusted the technique. The rice with stew turned out juicy, tasty, filling. I especially love how the stew gravy soaks into the rice! The children were generally delighted and had dinner and breakfast with this wonderful “pilaf”.
