STEP 1

How to make canned red beans with chicken? Prepare your food. You can take regular canned or boiled beans in advance. Peel the onions and wash them. Rinse the chicken fillet well and dry. I have sliced processed cheese, you can also take it in briquettes.
STEP 2

Cut the chicken fillet into three portions, fry on both sides in a frying pan in very hot oil. This will help ensure that the meat remains as juicy as possible during subsequent stewing. If you want some textured stripes, you can grill the chicken on a grill pan.
STEP 3

Transfer the fried chicken breast to a plate and cover with a lid or wrap in foil to help it cool more slowly.
STEP 4

Finely chop the onion and garlic, first crushing it with the back of a knife.
STEP 5

In the same oil where the chicken was fried, fry the onion and garlic, stirring them with a spatula.
STEP 6

Add beans (boiled or canned) to the onion, then tomato paste and a glass of water. Bring to readiness over low to medium heat, stirring. You can add not all products at once, but intermittently.
STEP 7

Place the fried chicken breasts in the pan on top of the beans.
STEP 8

Place a slice of cheese on each piece of chicken - it will not melt, but will only become soft. Simmer the chicken with red beans under the lid for 10-15 minutes over low heat.
