Prepare the necessary products in advance.

Knead the dough into a not very tight dough and let it rest a little while you prepare the filling with pumpkin and onions.
STEP 3

Peel the onion and cut into cubes.
STEP 4

Then fry the onion in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown.
STEP 5

Place the pumpkin, cut into small pieces, into a deep bowl, add the fried onion and add salt to taste. Mix thoroughly until the salt dissolves well and the mass becomes homogeneous. If desired, you can add ground black pepper.

The dough needs to be rolled out into a large layer, about 2 mm thick.
STEP 7

Then cut this layer with a curly knife into long ribbons. Determine the width yourself, at which it will be more convenient for you to form flower buds.
STEP 8

Along the entire length of the ribbon, spread the filling evenly, closer to one edge, since the bottom edge will need to be covered. Roll the workpiece into a roll, pinch it well at the bottom and form a rosette. Place the resulting flowers in a mantyshnitsa and steam for about 30 minutes. This method is perfect for treating guests.
