Princess Cake
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Knead the dough until smooth by simply mixing all the ingredients in a mixer (margarine at room temperature). Bake biscuits for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Allow the finished biscuits to cool.
STEP 2
Place some of the dough into a round cylindrical mold. Flatten the dough so that there is a bevel from the edge to the middle.
STEP 3
Place the rest of the dough in a round shape sloping in height and level it in the same way. Put the biscuits to bake. Meanwhile, prepare the soaking syrup and cream. For the syrup: add sugar and vanilla sugar to the water and, heating over low heat, stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. For the cream: mix and beat all the necessary ingredients into a thick creamy mass. Leave a little white cream for decoration, tint the rest pink.
STEP 4
If necessary, cut off the edge of the future skirt.
STEP 5
Divide the skirt lengthwise into 3 parts.
STEP 6
Divide the biscuit that will be the base of the cake lengthwise into two parts.
STEP 7
Cut a hole in the middle of each cake for the doll.
STEP 8
Assemble the cake. To do this, soak each cake with syrup and coat with cream.
STEP 9
Place the next layer of cake on the sponge layer soaked and coated with cream.
STEP 10
And thus, one after another, lay out a pyramid of cakes.
STEP 11
Cover the entire cake with cream and level with parchment. Place the coated cake in the refrigerator until the cream hardens.
STEP 12
Roll out the white mastic into a long pancake. Cut a strip 2-3 cm wide from it.
STEP 13
Glue a strip of fondant at the base of the cake. Make folds in places, imitating fabric. If the strip is not long enough for the entire circumference of the base, cut another strip and glue it in the same way, imitating fabric.
STEP 14
Roll out pink fondant into a long rectangle.
STEP 15
Place it in a circle on the cake, also simulating the fabric of the dress with folds.
STEP 16
Here and there, wrinkle the dress from bottom to top.
STEP 17
Thus cover the entire cake with mastic. If necessary, trim the hole for the doll with a knife.
STEP 18
From pink mastic, as shown in the photo, cut out a blank for a T-shirt.
STEP 19
Wrap it around the doll.
STEP 20
Trim off the excess from the back and glue it together with water.
STEP 21
Cut and straighten the top edge of the front of the shirt.
STEP 22
Also cut and smooth the top edge of the T-shirt from the back.
STEP 23
Place the doll in the hole of the cake.
STEP 24
Cut out a circle from white fondant.
STEP 25
Use a round shape to make petal-shaped notches along the edge.
STEP 26
Make a cut on one side of the circle.
STEP 27
Place the circle on top of the cake near the hole, close to the doll. Trim off excess.
STEP 28
Cut out small flowers from white mastic using a special shape or using a knife.
STEP 29
Dilute a couple of drops of dye with water and decorate the flowers.
STEP 30
Place confectionery beads in the middle of the flowers.
STEP 31
Apply the pattern onto the T-shirt using white cream.
STEP 32
Apply a pattern to the belt with cream and glue a flower.
STEP 33
Apply a pattern to the hem of the dress with cream. Glue the flowers where the fabric was wrinkled. Now that the princess is dressed in a delicious dress, the cake can be served or placed in the refrigerator before serving. Happy holiday and tea party!
