STEP 1

How to make delicious potatoes with chicken and tomatoes in the oven? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. If you wish, you can take a whole chicken weighing about 1.5 kg and cut it into portions. Or take certain parts of the chicken, for example, drumsticks, thighs or breast. Sour cream will suit any fat content.
STEP 2

Wash the chicken, dry it, cut into portions.
STEP 3

Peel the garlic cloves and grate them on a fine grater or pass through a press.
STEP 4

Place the chicken in a bowl, add sour cream, grated fresh garlic, salt and pepper. You can replace sour cream with natural plain yogurt or mayonnaise.
STEP 5

Mix well. The chicken should be completely covered with the sour cream and garlic mixture. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes or longer as time permits.
STEP 6

Rinse the potatoes thoroughly and scrub with a brush. Cut the potatoes into wedges. Young potatoes with tender, thin skins are best for this dish. If desired, you can cut off the peel.
STEP 7

Place the potatoes in a bowl, pour in the vegetable oil, add dry garlic and salt. Mix thoroughly.
STEP 8

Wash the tomatoes and cut them into 6 slices each. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
STEP 9

Place the chicken, potatoes and tomatoes in a greased baking dish. Place in an oven preheated to 190°C and bake for about 45 minutes until the chicken is golden brown. Bon appetit!
