I made potato soup with meat. I cooked the beef for a long time, about 2 hours, so that the meat turned out soft and cooked (my children like it that way). During this time, some of the water boiled away, the broth became strong and rich. I chopped the potatoes and carrots coarsely, as the author advises, but the onions were still smaller. I cooked the soup until the potatoes began to boil. I didn’t add tomato paste, I didn’t have it. Everyone really liked the soup! As for me, without tomato paste it has a pleasant sweetish taste of strong beef broth and carrots, which can be easily corrected by adding fresh herbs to a bowl of hot soup. Very tasty! I advise you to cook!
