  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pork with side dish? Start cooking by boiling buckwheat - it will act as a side dish. To do this, pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Salt it a little. Rinse the buckwheat well and add to boiling water. Bring everything to a boil, turn the heat to low and leave the buckwheat to cook under the lid for 10-15 minutes. Periodically peek into the pan and watch when the buckwheat has absorbed all the water. At this point the side dish will be ready.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the meat, take the pork, wash and dry it. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces, approximately the same size. It is best to use the flesh for this dish - neck or ham. But if you like meat on the bone, then you can use ribs.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat the frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Place the chopped meat in a frying pan and fry it, stirring, until golden brown, appetizing, for about 10 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the required amount of onion and cut into half rings.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add the onion to the meat and fry everything together for another 5-7 minutes. During this time, the onion will become softer and acquire a golden color and a pleasant aroma.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stems. If their skin is thick, remove it. Cut the tomatoes into pieces.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add tomatoes to the pan with the meat. Continue frying for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juice. Add a little salt and pepper to taste. Add a little water, cover with a lid and simmer the dish over low heat until the meat is cooked and soft. This will take another 10-15 minutes. Serve the finished meat with a side dish of buckwheat. Bon appetit!

You can stew pork with buckwheat with tomato paste, not tomatoes.

The perfect quick dinner recipe! Our family loves pork with a side dish of buckwheat. Therefore, I cooked buckwheat according to the recipe; by the way, the ratio of grain to water is ideal. The buckwheat turned out crumbly, grain to grain! First I fried the pork with a lot of onions, I really like it when there are a lot of onions) Then I stewed it with tomato paste. I added carrots, grated on a coarse grater. It gives more juiciness to the dish, and it improves the taste, it seems to me. It turned out tasty, satisfying and quite fast. The meat is soft and juicy. The gravy from it soaked the buckwheat, just wonderful! Served with cabbage and cucumber salad.
