STEP 1
How to make pork with side dish? Start cooking by boiling buckwheat - it will act as a side dish. To do this, pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Salt it a little. Rinse the buckwheat well and add to boiling water. Bring everything to a boil, turn the heat to low and leave the buckwheat to cook under the lid for 10-15 minutes. Periodically peek into the pan and watch when the buckwheat has absorbed all the water. At this point the side dish will be ready.
STEP 2
To prepare the meat, take the pork, wash and dry it. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces, approximately the same size. It is best to use the flesh for this dish - neck or ham. But if you like meat on the bone, then you can use ribs.
STEP 3
Heat the frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Place the chopped meat in a frying pan and fry it, stirring, until golden brown, appetizing, for about 10 minutes.
STEP 4
Peel the required amount of onion and cut into half rings.
STEP 5
Add the onion to the meat and fry everything together for another 5-7 minutes. During this time, the onion will become softer and acquire a golden color and a pleasant aroma.
STEP 6
Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stems. If their skin is thick, remove it. Cut the tomatoes into pieces.
STEP 7
Add tomatoes to the pan with the meat. Continue frying for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juice. Add a little salt and pepper to taste. Add a little water, cover with a lid and simmer the dish over low heat until the meat is cooked and soft. This will take another 10-15 minutes. Serve the finished meat with a side dish of buckwheat.
