STEP 1

How to bake pork ribs with apples in the oven? Prepare everything you need. If you have ribs from the freezer, you should first defrost them at room temperature. The dish will turn out much tastier from fresh meat that has not been frozen. The number of apples can be increased as desired. Peel the garlic.
STEP 2

Rinse the ribs and cut into portions.
STEP 3

Add honey, mustard, a couple of bay leaves, salt to taste and your favorite spices to a saucepan. Dry rosemary, basil, a mixture of ground peppers, etc. are perfect. Also squeeze the juice of one medium-sized lemon.
STEP 4

Place the saucepan on the stove. While stirring, dissolve all components until smooth.

Pour the marinade over the ribs. Pass one clove of garlic through a press and add it to the meat.

Mix everything thoroughly so that every piece of pork is in the aromatic marinade. Cover with cling film and leave at room temperature for at least an hour. The longer the ribs are marinated, the tastier they will be. I usually leave it in the refrigerator overnight.

Wash and dry the apples. Which apples are better to take? Fruits of sweet or sweet and sour varieties are good. Cut into large slices. Place the apples and remaining garlic into a small deep bowl. Lightly salt, pour in vegetable oil and sprinkle with dry spices. Mix everything well.

Place marinated ribs on top. Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake until done. How long and at what temperature should I bake ribs? The time depends entirely on the capabilities of your oven. I baked it top-bottom at 220 degrees for about an hour. At the end of cooking, I turned on the “convection” mode and left the ribs for another 10 minutes. During baking, open the oven 2-3 times and pour the resulting juice over the meat.
