STEP 1

How to bake pike in foil in the oven? Prepare all ingredients. It is advisable to choose a pike of such a size that it fits in the mold or on the baking sheet entirely. But if your fish is large, cut it into smaller pieces. Clean the pike, remove all excess, rinse in water and dry with paper towels.
STEP 2

Salt the prepared fish (both outside and inside), sprinkle with fish seasonings. Keep in mind that the prepared mixtures contain salt, so do not oversalt.
STEP 3

Using a special citrus juicer, squeeze the juice out of the lemon and lightly moisten the pike carcass with this juice. If you don't have a juicer, cut the lemon in half and then squeeze the lemon juice out of the halves by hand. Leave the fish to soak in the aromas of the seasonings and lemon juice for 20 minutes.
STEP 4

At this time, prepare the sour cream filling. To do this, transfer the sour cream into a deep container. Chop the fresh parsley with a knife. Mix sour cream with chopped parsley.
STEP 5

After 20 minutes, prepare the fish for baking. To do this, take foil and generously grease it with vegetable oil. This is done so that the pike does not stick to the foil and does not have to be peeled off, thereby ruining the appearance of the dish. Brush the pike on one side with sour cream and place the fish this side down on the foil. Then brush the other side of the fish with sour cream filling. Sprinkle the fish with vegetable oil again on top.
STEP 6

Wrap the pike carcass in foil and bake it in the oven at 180°C for about half an hour. Then unfold the foil and put the pike back in the oven for 5-10 minutes. A golden brown crust will appear on the fish. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.
