Pies with sausage and cheese in a frying pan

Very tasty and filling, ideal for a snack! Sausage and cheese pies in a frying pan are very similar to hot sandwiches or pizza. They are especially good hot, when the cheese in the filling is melted.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make fried yeast pies with sausage and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. This will make the finished products fluffier and the dough will rise better. Choose the cheese to your taste, the main thing is that it melts easily and grates well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough, heat the milk until warm (35-37 degrees). The milk should be pleasantly warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will die. Add dry yeast, salt and sugar to the milk. Mix everything until the yeast dissolves. Read about all the intricacies of working with yeast in a separate article (link at the end of the recipe).

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then pour vegetable oil into the bowl and begin to gradually add flour. Use the amount of flour based on the consistency of the finished dough. You may need a little more or less than what is indicated in the recipe. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

The finished dough is easily formed into a lump. It is soft, delicate and plastic. Leave the dough in the bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 1 hour. During this time, the dough will increase in volume.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

To prepare the filling, take boiled sausage and cheese. There may be several options for forming the filling. You can put sausage and cheese in layers in the dough and make a pie. This will be the laziest filling option. You can simply cut the cheese and sausage into cubes. Or you can, like I did, grate it on a coarse grater. In this version, the filling in the finished pies turns out to be very tender.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

From this amount of dough I got 15 pies. You can divide the dough into a different number of pieces depending on the desired size of the pies. Form each part into a small flat cake, place the filling on it and form a pie. By the time you make all the pies, the first ones made will already be a little suitable. You can start frying.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place the pies. Read about how to choose the ideal frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Cook the pies over low heat for 1-2 minutes on each side. The exact time depends on the operating characteristics of your stove. The pies will increase slightly in size and become an appetizing golden color.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the pies in a bowl. If you want the pies to be soft, without a crispy crust, then cover them with a towel. Pies with sausage and cheese made from yeast dough are ready. Bon appetit!
