The cooking season continues and I want to cook not only proven recipes, but also try new ones. I decided to try Irinyshka’s recipe: pickled tomatoes in a 3-liter jar for the winter. I prepared all the necessary ingredients: tomatoes, currant and cherry leaves, washed dill umbrellas. The jars were sterilized in the oven for 15 minutes at 150°. I placed currant and cherry leaves, an umbrella of dill, and cloves of garlic on the bottom of the jar. Then I filled the jar with tomatoes. Pour boiling water over, cover with a lid and leave for 15 minutes. I poured water from the jar into a saucepan, added salt and sugar and brought to a boil. Then added vinegar and stirred. I poured the marinade over the tomatoes and rolled them up. I turned the jar over, covered it with a blanket and left it to cool. Thanks to the author for the simple recipe and I have no doubt that it will be delicious! We'll evaluate it in winter.
